The Heartland Chapter is one of 18 chapters for the Florida Trail Association. The Belle Isle running group is a relaxed and fun bunch, made up of runners with different paces (from 8:30 to 10:30). All paces are welcome. There was no Zen Meetup Group in Orlando, so now there is! We will meet somewhere and practice zazen. Zazen is the mainstay of Zen practice - sitting zen. We meet once a month to run together and talk about the physiological benefits of running barefoot or with feet that are minimally shod. We're open to anyone interested in learning about barefoot running and have had people of all proficiencies: novice, intermediate and well-versed.
