This group is for runners, bikers, skiers, orienteers and athletes who don't stick to the road. We like the call of the wild, the unknown, the rough terrain, discovery and variety. Meetups may include small trail runs, xc ski races, hill training.... and yes, it's even permissible to have a road event in here - maybe a long bike ride into the countryside. Hiking, climbing... also okay. Beyond that... well, we will see. ALL levels, from beginner to advanced, are very very welcome.

We are looking for a fun group who are looking for group fitness options in the north suburbs. We will initially do trail walk/run/jog. As it becomes warmer, we will take advantage of as many of the nearby fitness opportunities as the group initiates. We won't leave you behind - we are geared first to back-of-the pack athletes. The general area we will visit (but won't be bound to) is the north suburbs of the Twin Cities- Anoka, Coon Rapids, Lino Lakes, Hugo, White Bear.

This is a group for anyone who wants to bicycle (or tricycle) on level trails for short distances with lots of rests. I have arthritis in my knee and was sad because hiking was banned by my doctor. But he also wants me to lose weight! My bicycle no longer feels stable so I found something called the Terra Trike which feels very stable and comfortable for me. I can ride limited distances -- only 4 or 6 miles for now is just fine for me. Although I would like to get up to 10 miles. I am 66 years o …

No degree of separation. No fame. Just writers writing. Authentic. Whimsical. Vulnerable. "It's all true, none of it's true, don't ask." We often spend too much time thinking about writing instread of writing. Our group meets to spend time writing. After we get our coffee, we pick a prompt (phrases, pictures) and a time …

This is a group for women who want to get together for a variety of activities that, while different in nature, will all lead to self-growth. I enjoy going for a run at a very leisurely pace but I don't run on a consistent basis. I'd like to blame it on a busy schedule but the real culprit is lack of discipline. I'm looking for a small group of women who will provide each other with motivation, encouragement and accountability. Every week, I would like to schedule one evening run during the week and one morning run on the weekend. Most runs will be in Cottage Grove or nearby. It might also be fun to register for a few local races or, …

Join us to meet local people who like to walk. Walking is so much more fun with other people, isn't it? We'll be walking different trails and parks around and outside the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. It is dog friendly if your dog is friendly. So let's start walking and talking. Keep in mind this is not a hike but just a walk. Email me if you know somewhere great to walk. Maybe it will be the next event.
This group is for both the experienced pole walker and those curious about what we're doing out there with our poles. It's always more fun to walk with a group and we love to introduce newbies to our favorite way of walking. Come along to enjoy the fitness, fun and rhythm of the poles! We'll explore lots of trails throughout the metro area and beyond. There's usually extra poles in the trunk of my car so you don't have to have your own to join us.
