Things are finally happening to turn the 128 acres purchased by the town for recreation purposes into the community center we have been hoping for. The entryway and temporary parking are completed. Eagle Scout Benscoe has erected an informational sign and built some benches for resting. The 1 1/2 mile perimeter trail will be constructed this spring. This is a group for dog owners and their small/toy dogs who like to hike. It's also for bigger dogs who live with small dogs. I have a 6lb Maltese and a 60lb Shepherd mix rescue dog who are best pals. If you have a small dog under 30lbs, join us.
